• This is another great addition to this series. I usually don’t add more info to the book description as I don’t believe in spoilers. Liz was recently hired as the steward on Lincoln’s yacht by the purser being told that Lincoln was seldom on it. She was looking for it to be quiet as she had a lot of thinking to do to figure out how she could get enough money to save her moms house and pay off the many debts her father racked up. Liz met Lincoln in the kitchen after he arrived on board followed by a party of over 200 people and they herd a loud crunch then screams. The yacht was taking in water quickly and was tilting to it’s side. This was the beginning of the Liz and Lincoln being stranded on a deserted island and the start of their story. There were many twists and turns to it. There was learning to trust and mistakes that happened when one eavesdrops and doesn’t get the whole story. i thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.
• Liz was one strong and brave lady! I think this is why she was so attractive to him. Lincoln had a good heart, but was broken.
• Eden and Holden had their chance with love five years ago, but Holden broke off their relationship. Eden does not imagine ever seeing Holden again especially not stranded on a hiking trail together. A quick, sweet read. Holden is great but Eden expects him to open up immediately. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
• I don't know if it's just because I had such a connection to a previously read book, or if I just am not in the mood for a novel such as this one- but I did not feel the pull to this novel that I normally do when I am reading a new novel. I will definitely have to try again later.
• Liz's first opinion of Lincoln is negative. She changes her mind. And changes it again. And changes it again.
  Lincoln changes his only twice.
  Paulson is the kind of writer whose work you actively search for. In this book she's done it again.
• She's been hurt before and he's used to women only after his money. Now they are on a stranded island and must trust each other to survive. Needs better editing.
• This book was really enjoyable. Misunderstandings make big messes! I'd say all was forgiven WAY too easily, but happily worked out.

• I continually tell people that this is the best book I have ever spent money on. Heres why
  
  Clear, concise, and to the point.
  HESI hints- If you're going to read anything from this book, make it the HESI hints. The book points out what is most important for you to know in a topic and ways to answer questions.
  Charts, pictures, and graphs galore! (usually I hate them, but these are actually very helpful!)
  Chapters are set up by systems- extremely helpful when studying for nursing tests and the HESI finals
  Pages are glossy and not easily ripped.
  A whole chapter dedicated to the NCLEX exam and test taking skills (actually helpful tips)
  
  Whats in this book
  Chapter 1 Introduction to testing and the NCLEX-RN exam
  Chapter 2 Leadership and Management (to be honest, I haven't looked at this chapter at all)
  Chapter 3 Advanced clinical concepts- respiratory failure, shock, DIC, fluid and electrolytes, ECGs, HIV
  Chapter 4 Med surg nursing (pretty damn comprehensive, whole chapter is over 100 pages)
  Chapter 5 Pediatric nursing- disorders disorders and more disorders
  Chapter 6 Maternity nursing- I read this instead of the ridiculous book we had. Did better on the tests than everybody else.
  Chapter 7 Psych nursing- haven't gotten to this yet
  Chapter 8 Gerontology nursing- haven't gotten to this yet
  Appendix Normal values, recommended daily requirements and food sources, common lab tests
  Index MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOOK
  
  Works great for studying for those HESI finals, exit exams, in class exams, and the NCLEX. 100/10 would recommend for every nursing student.
  
  Cons
  Little pricey, but to be honest it was worth it. I'm not sure how it compares to the old version.
• WASTE OF MONEY! I bought this newer (expensive) edition thinking it would have updated info or new/revised questions for the NCLEX. It ended up being the EXACT same as the older less costly editions. All that's updated is just a few pictures added to it. That's it. I wish I would have know. I would have saved my money and ordered an older edition. Nursing School is expensive. The last thing I want to do is throw away my money.
• I used it to study for pediatrics and maternity and I got 99.99% score!!! Excellent book!
• I have the older version also. This newer version has so many typos and mistakes that I suggest you buy the older version that's green. The older version has way less typos. I actually stopped reading this version and went back to reading the older version due to all the typos. It's almost like nobody proofread this version.
• There are only 101 online practice questions that you can complete with the online code. The exam questions and the study questions with the rationals, are the exact same 101 questions! I reviewed this book prior to taking a HESI final exam and I scored the exact same LOW score as I did the first time without this book. Additionally, there are typos throughout the text. So much for the newer version. Save yourself some money!

• Bought this book after reading the good reviews, especially the ones claiming that they passed Ob/Peds HESI just by reading this book.
  Not impressed so far. The book essentially just summarizes information from book (not in a particularly impressive way) and then at the end of each section, there is a list of questions (called review) which is followed by a page of answers to the questions in review.
  Not very NCLEX or HESI style. There are some HESI hints weaved in throughout the reading.
  Hmm. Not sure if my $47.07 was well spent. I would rather read the chapter in the book, make my own notes/index cards and then use Saunders or Lippincott for NCLEX questions. Why do I need this book?
• I got a 953 on my Hesit Exit exam BECAUSE OF THIS BOOK!!! I only studied for about 2 weeks. Basically what I did was read through each section, pay CLOSE attention to the Hesi Hints and question sections (all in yellow boxes). After I would read a section, I would do the practice questions that came with the book access code. I did all of the sets, however the pharm questions did not really help me at all for the exit hesi. If you don't want to do the questions, at least DO THE COMPREHENSIVE EXAMS (there are two) that come with the book! It gives you a good idea for what kinds of questions the exit test will be asking you. I did these and would review and review what I got wrong. Lastly, two days before the exam I went through the book and only read the Hesi Hints. Know your labs, the book tells you which ones are crucial to know. SO THANKFUL FOR THIS BOOK!

A guidare gli incursori vi era l’arcivescovo di Milano Ottone Visconti, deciso a chiudere definitivamente la partita con i guelfi Torriani, signori, fino a quel momento, di Milano.Sebbene la battaglia si risolvesse in una serie di violenti scontri lungo le vie e le piazze cittadine, senza avere un preciso andamento tattico, la contesa notturna vedrà, una volta per tutte, il trionfo del partito ghibellino guidato dall’alto prelato milanese. Quest’ultima fazione era, fino alla battaglia di Desio, il partito più debole nella lotta, reduce da diverse sconfitte subite precedentemente e con un seguito limitato a un gruppo di fuoriusciti ghibellini. Lo scontro non era solo tra guelfi e ghibellini fuoriusciti ma, soprattutto, tra due famiglie i Visconti e i Della Torre, o Torriani. In una circostanza in cui la fazione ghibellina, filo-imperiale, era guidata da un alto prelato, l’arcivescovo di Milano, contraddicendo il preconcetto secondo cui i guelfi fossero sempre legati alla curia papale mentre i ghibellini dei laici anticlericali. In realtà le lotte tra guelfi e ghibellini, di quegli anni, non prescindevano dalle complesse situazioni locali di lotte intestine tra famiglie per il potere. A ciò si deve aggiungere come la zona di Milano fosse ormai da molti anni terra di rifugio per eretici e predicatori di ogni sorta che non potevano far altro che arroventare ancor di più il clima di quel periodo, in cui, Milano, stava passando dalle libere magistrature comunali alla Signoria.

Although a majority of the readers could never humanly understand the pain suffered in the story due to lack of real-life experience, the words do speak true to everyday human feelings of belonging, pain, triumph, suffering, and so on, but most importantly, LOVE. We've all experienced love in all its ways which is why everyone can and will relate. You will, laugh, cry, judge...you will feel anger, hatred and fear but most importantly, you will feel how a breaking heart can HEAL.

I highlighted so many good quotes. This little novel deserves all the hype and awards it's gotten. The author has written an astonishingly beautiful and compelling narrative. My only complaint came that I felt it was a little too short, especially at the end. I'm also certain this book will be made into a great movie. Absolute must read!"

• This is such a good book that I consider it a jewel.
  In short, it is spellbinding.
• I bought this book on a whim but once started i knew I would finish it. Good character development with enough personal flaws to make it realistic.
• One of the smartest fiction books I've ever read; brilliant plotting and intricate details that come together at the end.
